by Stella Exley
Stella Exley Stella has loved plants from an early age and pursued her love to set up Hare Spring Cottage Plants in Yorkshire. She became very successful, exhibiting widely, giving talks nationwide and winning awards.
Stella claims to have a healthy obsession with C. Sidalcea, Uvularia and completely hardy perennials. In September 2022 she took a chance and relocated to Devon, moving home and nursery to a 2 acre garden and woodland near Kingsbridge. She is an RHS Gold medallist( you may have seen her on Gardeners World, Chelsea last year) and is the holder of 3 National Collections.

SOCIAL EVENT
No Floral Art – this month
20th AUGUST MEETING AT ST MAGS HALL
Dear Members,
You will see from your membership card we do not have a speaker for August. We left it open for a social opportunity. After discussion at our Committee meeting, we would like to offer a relaxed evening with refreshments, a raffle and a Quiz. This is not something we could have offered at the Livermead House but we now have more flexibility and the use of the kitchen. We shall be holding a plant table sale so do bring along any spares you may have.
We would also like to suggest you bring along a friend or family free of charge. This is open to all members and maybe next year we could think about an open meeting.
